This week's Outdoor destination is the Park at Flat Rock.

Formerly a golf course and crop fields, this small park packs a lot to do in a small amount of acreage.

With its own nature center, walking trails, pond, wooded areas and state-of-the-art children's playground, this little park is worth the 25-minute drive from Brevard.

There is little elevation in the park, so if hiking up steep hills isn't your thing, check out the Ed Lastein trail, which should take most people about 30 minutes to walk, with other loops that connect in the park branching off it.
