Cyclists To Compete For U.S. In Holland

Two local cyclists, Tristan Cowie and Hannah Arensman, have been chosen to represent the U.S. for the 2018 UCI Cyclocross World Championships set for Feb. 3 -4 in Valkenburg-Limburg, Holland.

Cyclocross can best be described as a combination of road and mountain biking and cross-country running, according to Cowie. He said there would probably be close to 80,000 spectators at the event, as cycling is akin to American football in Europe.
