Rosman Welcomes Wi-Fi - Rosman, NC

The town of Rosman now has four Wi-Fi access points thanks to a grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). The $5,780 grant, which was matched by local funds from Comporium as a community economic investment, is part of a $272,000 pilot project done in partnership with the N.C. Department of Commerce for rural Wi-Fi expansion.

Comporium helped bring Wi-Fi to downtown Brevard several years, with no expense to the city or community, according to its local general manager Frank Porter.
