Wooten's Walk-off Gives Tornados First Win Of 2018

Tornados' second baseman Dayne Homesly pivots off the bag as he fires toward first base to turn a double play in the second game of Friday's double-header against William Peace. Brevard College split with the visitors, winning game two on a ninth-inning walk-off hit from Jadon Wooten that drove in Homesly for the winning run.

After falling 2-0 in seven innings in the first game of the double-header, Brevard College beat William Peace 5-4 on a walk-off hit from freshman outfielder Jadon Wooten in the bottom of the ninth.

Brevard earned their first win of the season, and the loss dropped William Peace to 3-2.

The game entered the bottom of the ninth inning tied at 4, as Dayne Homesly and Tanner Revis were able to record base hits with two outs.
