Stepp Enjoys Being A Senior Companion

Shortly after Transylvania County native Barbara Stepp retired from 30 years spent working at Transylvania Vocational Services, she realized that just hanging out with Harley, her pet sugar glider, wasn’t going to cut it.

“Sugar gliders are nocturnal,” Stepp said, “and I needed something to do during the day.”
