Brevard College Bounces Back For Win Over Eagles - Brevard, NC

Brevard College catcher Eddie Mattocks applies the tag to Bridgewater's Austin Batten as he tries to score in the top of the sixth inning Sunday afternoon. The Eagles dominated the first half of the double-header, winning 21-1, before the Tornados took game two via a walk-off single from Ryan Roon.

After losing the first game of the doubleheader, Brevard College took home the 6-5 walk-off victory over Bridgewater on Sunday afternoon.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, with two men on base and two outs, sophomore Ryan Roon was down to his last strike when he delivered a base hit into right field that brought home Donny Carsillo and Christian Ezzell to secure the Tornado win.

This game marks the second win this year Brevard (2-3) has walked-off their opponent.
