Rice Street Community Garden Volunteers Ready To Dig In - Brevard, NC

The volunteers who care for the Rice Street Community Garden will be preparing the soil for planting cool weather crops from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, March 17.

The garden is located on a sloping hill behind the Comporium parking lot on East Main Street diagonally across from the Farmers' Market in Brevard. All community members from experienced gardeners to novices are welcome. If you can wield a shovel or drive a wheelbarrow or stick a seed in the soil, your presence is wanted.
