Movie Making Spotlight Shines On Transylvania

Filming has been going on in Brevard and Rosman on "The Righteous," a horror movie directed by local filmmaker James Suttles and starring Academy Awards nominee Eric Roberts.

Tammy Hopkins, the executive director of the Transylvania Community Arts Council, is also a producer of the movie and plays a role in it.

Filming is scheduled to continue through March 17 and has included a crew of roughly 20 to 25, eight actors and more than 30 extras from Brevard and the areas.

Film locations include the library, Quotations Coffee Shop and Gorges State Park. More information about the movie may...
