WNC Military History Museum To Show 'The Lost Battalion'

The WNC Military History Museum, located in downtown Brevard next to the county courthouse, will present a free showing of "The Lost Battalion" on Thursday, March 22, at 6 p.m.
"The Lost Battalion" tells the World War I story of the 308th Battalion of the U.S. 77th Division. The soldier were cut off and surrounded by German forces in the Argonne Forest during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive of 1918.
According to a poster promoting the movie, "The Germans gave them two options. Surrender. Or die. They chose a third."
