BC Softball Drops Pair Of Games To Scots

Brevard College softball had its four-game winning streak snapped on the road against Covenant in a doubleheader sweep on Saturday afternoon.

Brevard (5-5) was able to take a 1-0 lead in the third inning of the first game by way of a home run from Brittan Miller, her first homer of the season.

Breanna Allen got the start on the mound, as she pitched a complete game and allowed two runs on seven hits in the game.

However, Covenant (14-16) was able to score a run in the fifth and sixth innings to take the lead, ultimately coming away with the 2-1 win.
