Brevard Native Nets Wins At Tennessee Fishing Tournaments

Recently, Brevard native Kelly Penny, along with her husband, Randy, made history by becoming the first male-female team to take first place at the Morristown Marine Team Trail Invitational, held on Cherokee Lake. They finished the day with 20.5 pounds worth of fish, netting them a $10,000 prize, as well as $600 in gear. The couple, based out of New Market, Tenn., followed that up with another first-place showing at the White Pine Tournament Trail Classic.
