With Audie Murphy: History Museum To Show 'To Hell And Back'

On Thursday, April 26, at 6 p.m., Brevard's Military History Museum will show "To Hell and Back," the 1955 movie telling the World War II story about America's most decorated hero, Audie Murphy (playing himself in the movie).

Young Audie Murphy's father abandons his large family, and Audie becomes the main breadwinner. When World War II breaks out, Murphy wants to enlist, but looks too young and small to make a good fighter. Nevertheless, admitted as an infantryman by the Army, Murphy proves a courageous soldier.
