Academy Board Discusses Student Performance

The Brevard Academy: A Challenge Foundation Academy Board of Directors received reports from school director Ted Duncan on student performance.

Duncan said that Moby Max, a program to assist students struggling with math, is boosting student achievement.

“It is doing what we were hoping it would do,” said Duncan. “We are making progress with those interventions.”

According to data provided by Duncan, students in each grade have made progress using Moby Max. Students in third and fifth grade have, on average, shown more than a year’s growth in their math skills.
