Question: What If School Bond Fails?

County Commission Chairman Larry Chapman wants to know what is the “Plan B” if the proposed $68 million school bond referendum fails in November.

Chapman made the comment at last week’s regular commission meeting during discussion of a request from the Board of Education to drawdown $111,265 in lottery money to complete the funding for the Brevard Middle School roof replacement, which will cost roughly $470,000 in total.
