At Transylvania Heritage Museum: 150 Years Of Fashion On Display Until May 12

In honor of Brevard's Sesquicentennial, the exhibit traces the evolution of fashion over the past 150 years.

Who invented the zipper? When did belts replace suspenders? Who first introduced the iconic little black dress? Who was the first supermodel?

You will find the answer to these questions, as well as many other interesting facts, in the Timeline of Fashion on display at the Transylvania Heritage Museum from now until May 12.

This exhibit gives the museum an opportunity to showcase some of the wonderful pieces that have been donated to its collection over the years. It also shows the way fashion has changed over the decades.
