Climate Change Discussed At TNRC Meeting

According to the U.S. Global Change Research Program and its Climate Science Special Report, which was released last fall, the globally averaged surface temperature has increased by 1.8 degrees during the past 115 years, making it the warmest period in the history of modern civilization.

Deke Arndt corroborated that research recently during the Transylvania County Natural Resources Council’s (TNRC) monthly meeting.
