Terms Accurately Describe President

Charles Brendle (April 30) takes umbrage at Gus Napier’s use of the terms “morally repugnant” and a “rogue elephant” in his letter of April 23.

Napier’s assessment of the president as “morally corrupt” is clearly qualified as a belief, not an assertion of fact. Napier, and Mr. Brendle, for that matter, are entitled to their beliefs, as someone much wiser than I has said in another time, but not to their own facts. I have not encountered, in my lifetime, a system of morals that condones repeated lying, abuse of women, violation of marriage vows, breach of contracts, mockin...
