Thanks To Community Effort, Old Glory Flies At Davidson River Cemetery

On a beautiful spring morning under a clear blue sky, dozens of spectators gazed upward as veterans raised the American flag over the Davidson River Cemetery, accompanied by tenor Paul Smith's moving rendition of the national anthem. The occasion was the dedication of the flag and flagpole, gifted to the historic cemetery by the Transylvania County Honor Guard and the Woodmen of the World.
