Art Informs Environmental Focus At PFE

Have you driven past Pisgah Forest Elementary School lately? Have you wondered what those unusual sculptures are on the front lawn? What have they got to do with the school's focus on the environment?

The school's principal, Tonya Treadway, says that the sculptures are the result of the school's Improvement Plan initiated to show the value of an inclusive and positive learning environment, where students are encouraged to think creatively and collaboratively.
