Wayfinding Signs Placed In Key Spots Around County

Eleven new wayfinding signs have been placed throughout the county.

New wayfinding signs are appearing all over Transylvania County thanks to grants from the Appalachian Regional Commission and the county's Tourism Development Authority (TDA).

The project was initiated and coordinated by the Transylvania County Planning and Community Development Department.

In total, 11 signs have been installed at key intersections across the county. The signs point visitors to significant attractions, communities and landmarks. The new signs are modeled after the wayfinding signs installed by the city of Brevard starting in 2010.
