School Board Concerned About Lack Of Planning Funds

Members of the Transylvania County Board of Education expressed great concern at their meeting Monday night at Rosman High School about the absence of $276,000 in the proposed local budget that would have been designated to pay for advanced planning for the upcoming bond referendum.

Earlier this year, the school board had agreed to pay the architectural firm Clark Nexsen approximately $495,000 to provide all of the advance planning work prior to November’s bond.
