DAR Members Present 'A Salute To Dorothy Schieve, WAC In WW II'

Dorothy Schieve enters the room on the arm of her escort, Colonel "Duke" Woodhull.

On June 12 at 2 p.m., Dorothy Wilson Schieve processed on the arm of Col. Richard G. Woodhull to her seat of honor in the Activities Room at Cedar Mountain House where she is a resident.

Members of the Waightstill Avery Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and more than 50 guests began the presentation of "A Salute to Dorothy Schieve, WAC In WW II" to the delight of Dorothy and the entire audience.

The Rev. Diane Livingston gave the invocation and recognized not only Dorothy but also all veterans and active duty service men and women and their families.
