U.S. 64 Wreck Results In Injuries-Brevard NC

Despite the severity of an accident in Rosman on U.S. 64 Tuesday involving two cars and five people, there were no fatalities.

"It was probably one of the worst wrecks I've worked in a while," said State Trooper Bryan Stroup. "But none of the injuries were life threatening."

One person, he said, had a fractured sternum, and one had a fractured femur.

N.C. Highway Patrol responded at 3:19 p.m. on Tuesday and had the scene investigated and cleared at 5:30 p.m., Stroup said. Charges are pending.
