T.I.M.E. 4 Real Science Students Conduct Authentic Research

The team conducted research in their high school lab, even coming in on snow days to collect data.

When you think of western medicine, you would not necessarily think of herbs or other plant sources. However, three high school students from rural Brevard believe there are novel sources of natural medicine in plants, specifically those next to waterfalls. Plants in these areas, called spray cliffs, are constantly misted by the spray of water, making them vulnerable to waterborne disease.
