Brevard Cruises Over Rosman 42-0 In Rivalry Game

Blue Devil Baxter Swicegood (No. 8) is brought down by a pair of Rosman Tigers after a long interception return during the second half of Friday night's contest. Unfortunately for those in the orange-and-black, the game was a tidal wave of blue, as Brevard poured on 42 points and held Rosman scoreless to earn their third straight win in the Transylvania County gridiron showdown.

The Brevard Blue Devils left little room for doubt in Friday night's Transylvania County gridiron rivalry, jumping out to a 21-0 halftime lead before running away in the second half for a 42-0 victory over the Rosman Tigers.

Brevard's offense found the balance it lacked in its week one loss – coming up with big plays on the ground and through the air. Meanwhile, the Tigers were limited to just 188 total yards of offense and didn't get inside the Blue Devils' red zone until the final seconds of the game.

Outside of racking up 11 penalties for 90 yards, there wasn't much to complain abo...
