Cougars' Big Second Half Proves Too Much For Tigers

Rosman quarterback Luke Stewart drops back in the pocket and surveys the field during the Tigers' Friday night game against Mountain Heritage. The Tigers and the Cougars fought back and forth in the first half before the Cougars took over the game in the second half. Stewart finished 21-of-33, with 173 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

The Rosman Tigers season hasn't started as planned, but the Tigers are improving.

The team has played some stiff competition against teams much bigger than them so far this season.

Friday night would be no exception as they traveled to Mountain Heritage.

The Tigers never quit and the scoreboard did not match the missed opportunities the Tigers had in a game that finished with a 52-12 loss.

The Cougars took advantage of two Tiger turnovers early in the game that they turned into scores. After the dust settled, the Tigers found themselves down 12-0 with 6:28 left in the first quarter....
