Tigers Open SMC Play With Victory Over Wildcats - Rosman NC

Rosman senior Logan Powell used a bruising running style on catches out of the backfield, reeling in five grabs for 30 yards on the night. Powell also finished with six tackles, one sack and a fumble return for touchdown.

"That, my friends, is called a winning streak," was a quote that was said over and over on the sideline at Silverstein Memorial Stadium Friday night.

The Rosman Tigers opened up Smoky Mountain Conference play with the Andrew Wildcats and didn't disappoint, coming away with a 46-27 win that also put the Tigers on a two-game winning streak.

The Tigers came in with confidence after their first win of the season and it showed, as quarterback Luke Stewart marched the offense down the field.
