Pisgah Pest, Whitmire Grading Lead Softball Standings - Brevard NC

The season is quickly winding down for the Isaac Homes fall softball league and two teams have clearly pulled away from the rest of the pack.

In the coed league, Pisgah Pest leads the way, at 7-0. And in the men’s league, Whitmire Grading is leading, 6-0.

Final standings for both leagues are as follows.

Coed League

Pisgah Pest (7-0); Vaughan Heating & Air (4-3); PAWS (3-3); Jennings (2-5); All America Asphalt (1-6).

Men’s League

Whitmire Grading (6-0); Hair 2 Dye 4 (6-5); Morgan Tree Service (3-2); Hustle Gang (1-9).

This is the final week of the regular season. The league tournament begins Oct. 8 and runs through Oct. 22.

The following are the batting average leaders for both leagues.

Men’s League

Matt Pruitt (21-for-26, .808); Hunter Galloway (12-for-15, .800); Steven Walls (23-for-29, .793); Chris Rice (16-for-23, .696); Morgan Summey (13-for-19, .684).

Coed Men

Matt Pruitt (19-for-24, 792); Duncan Pressley (10-for-13, .769); J.J. All America (13-for-17, .765); JJ Jones (19-for-25, .760); Morgan Summey (12-for-16, .750).

Coed Women

Brady Horne (12-for-18, .667); Emily Taylor (8-for-15, .533); Mac McNeil (9-for-18, .500); Taylor Young (10-for-20, .500); Peyton Bailey (11-for-25, .440).

The Isaac Homes Youth Shelter assists young people in need in Transylvania County and provides local students with scholarship opportunties to attend college.
