Tigers Suffer SMC Setback In 39-7 Loss To Swain

Hooper Thomas had a big night on the receiving end, reeling in a team-high 12 catches for 122 yards, along with Rosman's lone touchdown on the evening.

On a cold night in Bryson City, the Rosman Tigers could not capitalize on two Swain turnovers early in the game.

To make matters worse, the Tigers struggled in the red zone, which led to a 39-7 loss to the Maroon Devils.

The Tigers could't take advantage of either Gavin Rutledge's fumble recovery or Samuel Chapell's interception, which gave the Tigers the ball near midfield.

The first turnover resulted in a punt and the second ended with a Maroon Devil interception.

The result would introduce the Tigers to the speedy Bryce Sain.
