BRCC Doors Are Open For Spring Registration

The year was 1994, Glenda McCarson, assoc-iate vice president for the Transylvania County Campus, recalled. As she walked through the Blue Ridge Community College doors for the first time to register for classes, McCarson was celebrating her son JC’s first birthday and first day of day care. Starting college at age 34, McCarson “wanted more for my kid, and I knew that if I worked hard, I could make a better life and do something with myself.”
