Fire Badly Damages Home - Connestee NC

There were no injuries in a residential fire at 235 Piedmont Camp Road off U.S. 276 on Monday night.

“Connestee Fire and Rescue got the call for service at 10:46 p.m. from an automatic fire alarm and an incomplete 911 call,” said Chase Owen, fire chief for Connestee Fire Rescue.

Arriving within two minutes, Owen said the carport of the home, including two vehicles, a lawnmower, a tractor and an ATV, were on fire, and the fire was extending into the 6,000-square-foot home.
