Mark Meadows Wins Another Term In Congress

Incumbent Republican U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows won another term representing District 11 in Congress Tuesday.

In Transylvania County, Meadows received 8,868 votes to his Democratic challenger Phillip Price’s 6,471 votes and Libertarian’s Clifton B. Ingram Jr.’s 363 votes. Districtwide, Mead-ows received 177,143 votes to Price’s 115,794 votes and Ingram’s 6,072 votes.
