Connestee Fire Rescue Equipped With Drone To Better Serve

Game-changing drone technology in fire prevention and search and rescue came to Connestee Fire Rescue (CFR) Department earlier this year.

A DJI (Da-Jiang Innovations) Matrice 210 Quadcopter (four, 17-inch propellers) drone, equipped with video and an infrared camera, as well as obstacle-avoidance sensors, could reduce the number of people in the forest when searching for missing persons, as well as provide aerial foresight for ground crews who may not be able to see an approaching hindrance during rescue operations.
