Rare Bourbons Prove Popular At ABC Store Lottery - Brevard NC

For a handful of lucky aficionados, the Christmas spirit came early this year in the form of a batch of rare bourbons.

On Monday, a standing-room-only crowd descended upon the Brevard ABC Store in hopes of having their name drawn for the rights to purchase some of the best and most hard-to-find liquor on the market.

Organized by the Brevard ABC Board and store general manager Mark Balding, the event was what the N.C. ABC Commission refers to as a "lottery drawing."
