Brevard Shakes Off Slow Start, Beats Rosman 65-53

After taking the Rosman Tigers' best punch in the opening eight minutes, the Brevard Blue Devils settled down and outscored their rivals over the final three quarters on their way to a 65-53 victory last Friday night.

Rosman came out of the gate hot, taking a 5-0 lead that later grew to 11-2 after a step-back jumper from Hooper Thomas.

A couple of buckets from Breylan Owens and Aiden Green cut into the lead slightly, but Rosman held a 17-12 advantage after the first quarter.

However, the Blue Devils picked things up in the second quarter thanks to solid ball movement and points off turn...
