A community of local artists invites the public to experience "Freedom" through an artistic lens at the Transylvania Community Arts Council from Jan. 11-31.

Organizer and curator Nicola Karesh, said, "You are invited to our 5th annual Faces of Freedom Art Exhibition. The journey to freedom is our foundational theme. It is the heart of what unifies our wonderfully talented group of presenting and performing artists. Together, through an artistic lens, we will embark on an experiential journey with our local artists, as they share their unique experience and understanding of freedom. Each perspective has the capacity to touch hearts, open minds and inspire healing conversations. It has the potential to offer a more expansive sense of what freedom could look like for us all."
