The Journey Inward – It's Not Easy To Get Off The Worry Train

All aboard! You walk down the aisle and take your seat. You have just boarded the “worry train.” The train pulls out of the station and there you are, destination unknown. That’s the way with worry isn’t it? Away you go. Before long, you are running various scenarios in your mind about uncertain outcomes. Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

All of us worry, sometimes chronically. Neuroscientists tell us that we have a negativity bias. It is not our fault. Early humans in the Savannah had to predict dangers at every turn. Is it a man-eating beast or a bus...
