Library To Offer Ukulele Circle Every Second Thursday

The library has six ukuleles people can reserve for the ukulele classes.

Starting on March 14, the Transylvania County Library will be hosting a Ukulele Circle every second Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. led by staff members Laura Gardner and Heather Reedy. This intergenerational program is open to adults, as well as kids 7 and up, accompanied by an adult if they're under 12.

No experience is necessary, and, in some cases, no ukulele is necessary either. As part of the program, the library has acquired six ukuleles of differing sizes and tones that will be available during the circle for public use. Anyone who wishes to borrow a library ukulele should call to reser...
