McCoy Gets Complete Game Victory In Tornados' Debut

Junior pitcher Micayla McCoy earned a complete game victory in her debut with Brevard College on Saturday. McCoy scored the win against Methodist, holding the Monarchs to one run on five hits over seven innings.

The Brevard College softball team (3-4) split a doubleheader with Methodist (4-8) on Saturday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Field.

The Tornados rebounded with an impressive 5-1 win after dropping game one of the twin bill, 5-2.

Game two proved to be a complete victory for the Tornados, who excelled on the mound and at the plate, as well as defensively.

Starting pitcher Micayla McCoy (1-0), who was making her debut as a Tornado, earned the complete-game victory by holding the Monarchs to just one run on five hits over seven innings.
