Have you ever wondered how a quilt is built or how a spinning wheel works?

The Heritage Museum's new spring exhibit, which opened Saturday, March 9, shows "Generations of Creations: Spinning, Weaving & Quilting" with examples of our ancestor's handiwork and the tools they used.

Come and see items from local families, including a spinning wheel made by famous gun maker Matthew Gillespie, and mark your calendar for a spinning demonstration by Becky Garrison at 1 p.m. on March 23. Museum hours are Wednesday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closes at 3 p.m. on Saturdays). This exhib...
