Chamber Planning Candidate Forum For Tuesday, Sept. 17

March 18, 2019

A candidate forum organized by the Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce will take place this year on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Transylvania County Library Rogow Room.

The chamber wants to give as much early notice as possible of the date of this event, as it is important to the many parties involved. The planned races for Brevard City Council, Rosman Alderman, and Rosman mayor will be covered this year.

The Chamber of Commerce is an unbiased, non-partisan organization that hosts the annual Candidates Forum as a community service. The event is designed to provide citizens a unique opportunity to learn more about candidates and their platforms for key local and state races. The public is encouraged to attend in support of their community and the elected officials who serve it.

The Chamber of Commerce is a member-based organization designed to enhance, advance, and promote the well-being of the local business community. It is a 501(c)(6) non-profit with more than 520 members. Membership is open to any person, business, non-profit, or other organization interested in the promotion and welfare of the local business community and the quality of life for Brevard and Transylvania County residents.
