County Seeking Workforce Housing Proposals

The county is seeking requests for proposals (RFPs) from companies to build workforce housing on property behind the animal shelter in Rosman.

The county Board of Commissioners approved the move last week during its regular meeting. The 25-acre site, which also sits adjacent to the closed former Calvert landfill, includes three relatively flat sections of roughly 4.3 acres, 3.7 acres and 1.5 acres.
