Tigers Edge Blue Devils 9-8 In Extra Inning Classic

Both had big games, as Stewart finished 3-for-5 with four RBIs and Deshauteurs was 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. The Brevard Blue Devils and Rosman Tigers gave local baseball fans everything they could ask for last Wednesday night in a game that featured lead changes, late heroics and extra innings.

But in 2019's only installment of the county's rivalry on the diamond, it was Tiger fans who got to celebrate as Rosman came away with the 9-8 win after scoring two deciding runs in the eighth inning.

Rosman led the latter half of the game by one run before the Blue Devils scored in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings. Combined, the two sides went for 19 hits – including six extra-bas...
