Testing Reporting Delays Affect Student Placement

Monday evening, the Transylvania County Board of Education discussed the challenges of placing students in summer learning programs and fall classes due to delays in state reporting of standardized test scores.

Brian Weaver, assistant superintendent of Transylvania County Schools, said the school system does not receive End-of-Grade (EOG) and End-of-Course (EOC) math scores until August or September.
