River Tour Looks At Needs

Sections of the upper French Broad River are being overused, while other sections are being underused, according to local officials.

Last week, a group of conservationists, land managers and local officials took a tour of the upper French Broad River with a "needs" assessment in hand, which was prepared in January by the French Broad River Stewards. The document identified five priorities the stewards would like to see implemented in partnership with local government.
