Arrest Made After Police Vehicle Damaged

A car chase ended in a glancing blow to a Brevard Police Department vehicle and a damaged Comporium pole on Tuesday morning on Everett Farm Road.

Robert Rogall was later arrested and charged with one felony count of fleeing to elude arrest and one felony count of marijuana possession.

He was placed in the Transylvania County Detention Center under a $200,000 bond.

The chase started at 1:47 a.m. when a Brevard police officer noticed Rogall driving on Old Highway 64 above the posted speed limit, which is 35 miles per hour.
