Brevard Tied For First After Grinding Win Over Smoky

The Brevard Blue Devils are doing all the little things it takes to win ball games, and they've got a share of the Mountain Six Conference lead to show for it.

Tuesday night, Brevard won their fourth straight conference game, taking their only lead when they needed it the most, earning a walk-off victory over Smoky Mountain after scoring two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win 6-5.

Smoky previously beat the Blue Devils 11-0 at their place, but Brevard was ready to fight, and outlasted the visitors in a grueling contest.
