Bike Bill Impact Unclear

On Saturday, the 20th annual Assault on the Carolina’s (AOTC) drew riders from all over the country, and a few internationally, to ride from Brevard, over the South Carolina state line, and back up over Caesar’s Head.

With so many riders coming from out of state, it remains unclear if the proposed HB 157, colloquially known as the “bicycle registration bill,” would have any impact on charity rides like the AOTC or the Assault on Mt.
