Conference Races Heating Up In Final Weeks Of Season

With just over a month to go in the regular season, schedules are heating up for area prep teams as each game becomes increasingly important to conference standings and postseason ambitions.

After a pair of wins last Tuesday, Brevard baseball and softball went 1-1 to close out the week.

The Lady Blue Devils lost 6-5 to Pisgah in eight innings on the road on Wednesday before bouncing back to rout Hendersonville 16-1 on Thursday.

Brevard’s record stands at 11-3. They are 7-3 in the Mountain Six, 1.5 games behind first-place Franklin (8-1 in conference).
