New Look, Same Winning Ways For Blue Devil Tennis

There might be a new coach and an influx of new players, but things haven’t changed much for the Brevard High School boys’ tennis team.

It’s near the end of the season, Brevard is undefeated in conference play, and the playoffs are just around the corner.

The Blue Devils took a step toward another Mountain Six title last Thursday, with an 8-1 road victory over Franklin.

Brevard flipped the No. 1 and 2 singles positions, inserting freshman Porter Schrader into the top singles spot.

Schrader was up to the challenge, coming away with a 6-4, 6-2 victory.
